Rivermen fans you need to be applauded for your generous contribution to the Langley Food Bank. Tonights game against the Powell River Kings saw you fans bring in 2 garbage dumpsters full of non-perishable food items. There are many families that need the food bank to get through their day to day life. For this, the Langley Rivermen would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You truly showed why we have the best fans in the league.
Tomorrow night is our first annual Teddy Bear Toss night. Fans, you are encouraged to bring a soft toy and teddy bears to the game against the Prince George Spruce Kings and when the Rivermen score the first goal of the game then let the soft toys fly. All toys will be donated to the children at Langley Memorial Hospital who are sick during the holiday season. This is for a great cause, so come on out and support. Puck drop is 7pm.
