The Langley Rivermen concluded the latest weekends games in a BIG way. Defeating the Grizzlies and the Smoke Eaters for 2 wins in a row. Following the Sunday game was our skate with the Rivermen presented by Canadian Tire. This was a great opportunity for fans young and old a chance to meet and get autographs from the players and me of course. Many pictures were taken and my hand hurts a little from all the autographs that I signed. During this event kids were taken on a tour of the dressing room area. What a awesome experience for the kids. Thank you to all that came out and cheered on the boys and sticking around for the skate afterwards.
The next Langley Rivermen home game is Wednesday Feb. 1, 2012 @ 7pm when the cross town rivals, the Surrey Eagles, come to town to take on the boys. Surrey is coming off a pretty disappointing weekend having not been able to do what the Rivermen could, and that was beat Victoria and Trail. Langley will look to keep the good times rollin'.
