On Saturday the Langley Rivermen played host to the Victoria Grizzlies and by all accounts the night was a HUGE success on and off the ice. The 'Riv' handed the Grizz their 9th straight loss with a final score of 13-2 on the ice. Off the ice was the first ever Chili Cook Off. There were some great entries for everyone in attendance to try. The winner was...Mark from the operations department at the LEC. Mark won a Dewalt Chop Saw compliments of the Home Depot. Thank you to all that entered their Chili. It sure was yummy.
Sunday is another Rivermen Game Day. The 'Riv' will host the Trail Smoke Eaters for the one and only time this season. Game time is 2pm. Make sure you bring your skates as this is another Canadian Tire Skate with the Rivermen immediately following the game.
