The Langley Cruise in car show is this Saturday in Langley City and the Rivermen will be there to hand out tickets to the Home Opener on September 22, 2012. We will be located outside of Levy's Source for Sports with our table. Come on over and say hi and get a autograph and tickets or just to say hi as the new and returning players will be there for the day.
The Langley Cruise in car show is one of the largest car shows in North America. The show is attended by more than 100,000 people each year from all over North America. Car enthusiasts can expect more than 500 different vehicles to be on display. With that kind of variety you are sure to find your dream machine to drool over. There will also be fun and games for the kids so bring down the whole family. The weather is calling for sunshine which will make for a great day.
Don't forget fans that today also marks the start of the BCHL Showcase which takes place in Chilliwack at the Prospera Centre. The event runs the weekend with all 16 BCHL teams playing 2 regular season games and the players have a chance to showcase their talents to many scouts from the NHL, College and University. The first game of the Showcase starts today at 3:30pm as the Rivermen take on the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
