The Rivermen played their final game of the preseason to a packed house in Aldergrove last night as they hosted the Wenatchee Wild of the North American Hockey League(NAHL). Fans young and old came out in droves to get a sneak peak at this years edition of the Langley Rivermen and although the team came up short the fan response was extremely positive. Most of the fans I spoke to were very excited to see what this team can do when it really counts.
The coming week will be very busy for the Riv as they prepare for the BCHL Showcase which starts this Friday with a match against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs @ 3:30pm. Come on out and support your team.
