Game Day Report

Well, it is finally here.  Our first exhibition game.  The players have been working very hard this week at practice fine tuning there skills and seeing who works best with which line.  Tonight should be a good test for the Rivermen, facing a team that not most, if any have faced in the past.  Wenatchee Wild play in the NAHL West Division and are a highly skilled team and should be a great opponent for the Rivermen this evening.

As there are only 27 players left in camp and with the new rules that a team can only carry 21 players instead of the old rule where a team could carry 23 players on their roster, you would expect that the coaching staff has some very difficult decisions to make in the next 4 exhibition games.

The 4 exhibition games that the Rivermen play are:
Tonight @ 7pm       George Preston Recreation Center
Sept. 10, 2011 @ 7pm        George Preston Recreation Center
Sept. 16, 2011 @ 7pm        South Surrey Arena
Sept. 17, 2011 @ 7pm        Bill Copeland Arena

Make sure you mark these dates on your calender as you are not going to want to miss this action.  Remember tonight's game is @ 7pm at the George Preston Recreation Center and tickets are $5 dollars at the door and it is a cash only basis.

I will be there in my non- cartoon form and look forward to seeing you all there.

See ya at the Rink.
